Sharon Sexton and Rob Fowler Release New Album “Then Our Eyes Met”

West End Duo Sharon Sexton and Rob Fowler Announce New Album “Then Our Eyes Met”

Acclaimed West End performers Sharon Sexton and Rob Fowler have announced the release of their brand-new album Then Our Eyes Met, featuring ten original songs that capture their signature blend of storytelling, soul, and rich vocal harmony. The album, produced by Ben Robbins at The Umbrella Rooms Studios, celebrates both their creative and personal partnership.

A Love Story Told Through Song

Funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign supported by their loyal fanbase, the project has been a heartfelt labour of love. From the brass-driven anthem Soho to the moving title track Then Our Eyes Met and the reflective Hands of Time, the record showcases the duo’s emotional range and passion for authentic songwriting.

Sexton and Fowler, who famously starred together as Falco and Sloane in the hit West End musical Bat Out of Hell, have built an extraordinary connection with audiences worldwide. Their chemistry on stage evolved into a real-life romance, and the two married in 2023. They have since toured the UK with Bat Out of Hell, performing alongside raising their young son- a testament to their devotion both to their family and to theatre.

“This album really captures the essence of our journey – both as artists and as a couple,” said Sexton. “These songs were penned in dressing rooms, on the beach, and everywhere in between.” Fowler added, “It’s deeply personal, but music is universal. We hope listeners find their own stories in these songs.”

The duo recently celebrated their album launch with two sold-out performances at London’s Crazy Coqs, and are set to embark on a UK and Ireland tour in Spring 2026. Then Our Eyes Met will be available from 14 November on all major streaming platforms, with physical copies available from their official online store.
