Wendi Peters and Matthew James Morrison to perform in Glorious! UK tour

Matthew James Morrison, best known for his role on EastEnders, has been confirmed to join Wendi Peters in the 20th anniversary UK tour of the West End hit comedy Glorious! Morrison, who played Felix Baker and alter ego “Tara Misu,” will take on the role of Cosme McMoon, accompanist to the flamboyant Florence Foster Jenkins.

Glorious! tells the true story of Jenkins, famously dubbed ‘the worst singer in the world,’ whose passion for performance led her to sold-out recitals at Carnegie Hall. The play highlights her unwavering determination, her love for music, and the friendships that shaped her journey. Peter Quilter’s Olivier-nominated comedy remains a favourite among London theatre audiences, blending humour, heart, and historical intrigue.

Alongside Peters and Morrison, the cast features Caroline Gruber and Sioned Jones in multiple roles, supported by Ella-Maria Danson and Ryan Hall. Directed by Kirk Jameson, the UK tour will travel across the country from February to June 2026, celebrating 20 years of success since its original West End premiere.

For fans of musical theatre and London theatre, this anniversary tour offers an exceptional opportunity to revisit a classic comedy filled with laughter, emotion, and remarkable performances.
