Producers of Roam, the exciting new musical blending rock, pop, and Romani influences, have unveiled the full cast for its special one-night-only concert production at London’s Shaftesbury Theatre on 23 November. Directed by Rupert Hands with choreography by Olivier Award winner James Cousins, ROAM promises a high-energy evening of music, drama, and emotion.
The concert features Tony and Olivier nominee Ramin Karimloo as Yoska, alongside Jordan Luke Gage as Stefo, Frances Mayli McCann as Aishe, Diego Rodriguez as Pesha, Melanie La Barrie as Vodoma, and Hope Lavelle as Nanoka. Joining them are Angela Caesar, Jonathan Charles, Fred Double, Emma Farnell-Watson, Alex Given, Ali Goldsmith, Indiana Hawkes, Michael Lin, Emma Lloyd, Shayna McPherson, and Adam Strong. Together, this ensemble will bring Alexander Sage Oyen’s evocative music and Michael Dovid’s original book to life in an unforgettable concert experience.
Set against the backdrop of a nomadic clan whose caravan breaks down in hostile territory, Roam explores themes of family, loyalty, and resilience. As past regrets collide with present challenges, romances ignite, and long-buried tensions surface, audiences are drawn into a story both intimate and epic.
For London theatre and musical theatre fans, Roam offers a thrilling combination of propulsive rhythms, humour, and emotion, marking a standout event in the West End calendar. This limited concert production allows audiences to experience the story in a unique format before a full staging in the future.
