Jason Donovan is lacing up his heels once again. The pop icon and musical theatre star is set to return to the role of Frank ‘n’ Furter in The Rocky Horror Show for its electrifying 2026 UK tour.

The tour kicks off at Edinburgh Playhouse in January and will visit major cities including Liverpool, Eastbourne and Bristol. Donovan, who has become a fan-favourite for his fearless and charismatic portrayal of Frank, is set to lead audiences through another outrageous, glitter-filled adventure that defines British musical theatre at its most exuberant.

Producer Howard Panter expressed excitement at Donovan’s return, noting his unmatched stage presence and ability to capture the wild, witty energy that has made The Rocky Horror Show a cult sensation for more than five decades.

The new tour will also feature Stephen Webb reprising his take on Frank ‘n’ Furter at select venues. Joining the cast are James Bisp as Brad, Haley Flaherty as Janet, and Ryan Carter-Wilson as Riff Raff, alongside a vibrant ensemble of seasoned performers.

Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the production continues to celebrate Richard O’Brien’s timeless creation, packed with hits such as Sweet Transvestite, Science Fiction/Double Feature, and the legendary Time Warp.

Since its debut in 1973, The Rocky Horror Show has been a phenomenon, breaking boundaries and encouraging audiences to embrace individuality, sequins, and audience participation.
