The Dystopian Blockbuster Takes Over London Theatre
London theatre audiences can’t get enough of The Hunger Games: On Stage. Following a sold-out early run, the first-ever stage adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ iconic series has extended performances at the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre until 18 October 2026.
Previews are currently underway ahead of the official press night on 12 November 2025. With tickets selling fast, this spectacular live event is set to dominate the London theatre scene well into next year.
A Star-Studded Cast Brings Panem to Life
Mia Carragher leads the cast as Katniss Everdeen, joined by Euan Garrett as Peeta Mellark and Joshua Lacey as Haymitch Abernathy. The production even features John Malkovich on screen as President Snow, blending live performance with cinematic power.
Director Matthew Dunster (2:22-A Ghost Story, The Pillowman) and adaptor Conor McPherson reimagine Collins’ world in a brand-new, immersive production. The 1,200-seat Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre has been custom-built for the experience, placing audiences right in the centre of the arena.
